Your BuildTools.net account and all associated data have been permanently deleted as per your request and GDPR Article 17 (Right to Erasure).

Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of BuildTools software, websites, and related services. By using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Account & Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
2. Subscription Plans & Trials
Free Tier: No credit card required. Limited features with no automatic charges.
14-Day Trial (Paid Plan): To start a trial of our Pro plan, you must provide a valid credit card. A €0 authorization hold is performed to validate the card; no actual charge occurs. You will not be billed during the 14-day trial period. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will never be charged. If you do not cancel, your subscription automatically converts to a recurring paid plan at the end of the trial period.
Cancellation: You may cancel at any time via your account dashboard or by contacting support. Cancelling during the trial prevents any future charges. After conversion, cancellation stops future billing, but no prorated refunds for the current billing cycle apply (unless required by law).
3. Payments & Refunds
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Subscription fees are charged in Euro (€). Refund requests are handled according to our Refund Policy. BuildTools does not store full card details.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse our services (e.g., unauthorized scraping, malicious activity, violating laws). We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate our policies, with or without notice.
5. Intellectual Property
All software, UI, and content are owned by BuildTools. You receive a non-exclusive, revocable license to use our tools for your business or personal projects.
6. Modifications & Termination
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We may terminate accounts for breach of Terms.
Refund Policy
BuildTools is committed to transparent billing. Our refund and cancellation procedures are aligned with subscription terms and European consumer protection principles.
Free Tier – No Credit Card Required
You can use our free tier indefinitely without providing any payment details. No charges apply.
14-Day Trial with Credit Card (€0 Authorization)
When you start a trial for any paid plan, we require a valid credit card to prevent abuse. Stripe performs a €0 authorization check (no actual charge). You will not be billed during the 14-day trial window. If you cancel your subscription any time before the 14 days expire, you will never be charged. No refund is needed because no payment was collected.
After Trial – Subscription Charges & Cancellation Options
If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan and your card will be charged the applicable monthly or yearly fee.
From your dashboard, you have two cancellation choices:
- Cancel Subscription – stops future billing, but you keep access until the end of your current billing period. No refund for the current period.
- Cancel & Refund Pro‑Rated – ends your subscription immediately, and you receive a prorated refund for any unused time.
All refunds are processed via Stripe back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
How to Request a Refund
You can manage your subscription and request a prorated refund directly from your dashboard. No need to contact support for standard cancellations.
